LIVE MUSIC! Medina~Walsh/Braeyden Jae/Aaron Oppenheim

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Join us for Adobe's monthly music series!
This month we have some of the Bay Area's, nay, the world's best singer songwriters ("..how dare he!") in the intimate setting you've come to know and love at Adobe Books on a early Friday eve (note, 7:30pm, perfect for after work!) make these dark days a bit brighter in cosy company at Adobe Books!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Topping the evening off with Medina/Walsh explore the intersection between contemporary folk, drone, ambient, noise and electronic music. The duo is seemingly a paradox unto itself: Medina, a self taught finger-style guitarist and Walsh, a sound artist, synth guru, and classically trained composer; their compositions reflect a dichotomy in style as well as sound, gentle serenity often leads to jarring dystopia.

Braeyden Jae creates ambient music of great weight and movement. Recontextualizing the bass guitar to create oceanic swells of eliding sound awash in obscured inputs and sanded outputs.

Starting off the eve with solo set by Aaron Oppenheim, who improvises sounds from his laptop. His music straddles the line between noise, drone, and glitch, always emphasizing liveness and in-the-momentishness. He is a member of several bay-area ensembles including Talk More, Architect/Enchantress and GIF Problem.
